Warband Warscroll: The Wurmspat

Inspire

If 3 or more enemy fighters are slain or damaged, Inspire each friendly fighter.

After an enemy fighter with any bile tokens is slain by a friendly fighter, Inspire that fighter.

Disgustingly Resilient

Nurgle's chosen are all but inured to pain.

Immediately before damage is inflicted on a friendly fighter by an Attack without Cleave (Cleave icon), if the Save roll contained any (Save shield icon), reduce the damage of that Attack by 1.

Grandfather's Gifts

One scratch, and the plagues do their great work...

Bile Blade (blade icon): If the Attack was successful, give the target a bile token after the Attack has been resolved.

Enemy fighters have -1 Move while they have any bile tokens. Remove all bile tokens from enemy fighters at the end of the battle round.

Steady Advance

No need to hurry – there will be boons for all, in due time.

Use this in your Power step. Pick up to 2 friendly fighters. Push each of those fighters 1 hex. You can only use this ability once per game.

Nauseous Revulsion

Not everyone appreciates the nature of Fecula's gifts. Ingrates...

Use this in your Power step. Enemy fighters' melee weapons have -1 Attack dice in the next turn. You can only use this ability once per game.

Blades of Putrefaction

Vile slime and liquid agues drip from the edges of the Wurmspat's blades.

Use this in a Power step. Friendly fighters' melee weapons have Grievous (Grievous icon) in addition to any other Weapon abilities in the next turn. You can only use this ability once per game.

Transcriber note: the warscroll image predates the February 2026 rules update. The text above is transcribed as printed. The sourcer reports that the update amends Blades of Putrefaction and Disgustingly Resilient, but this transcriber has not verified that errata against the update document, so the amended wording is not transcribed here.

Fighters

The three fighter stat cards below show each fighter's printed values. Their icons carry no legend in the source, so each icon is described by its shape rather than named. Left column, top to bottom: a blue Move value, a green shield-with-figure value, a red Wounds value and an orange Bounty value. Weapon rows read left to right in the order printed.

Fecula

  • Left column: Move 3; green shield-with-figure icon 1; Wounds 5; Bounty 3.
  • Weapon row 1: crossed-weapons icon; ring icon 1; hook icon 2; starburst icon 2; blade icon.
  • Weapon row 2: bow-like weapon icon; ring icon 3; crossed-box icon 3; starburst icon 1; shield-with-figure icon.
  • Card carries a faction icon (top right) and a crown icon (top right, unlabelled).

Ghulgoch

  • Left column: Move 3; green shield-with-figure icon 1; Wounds 5; Bounty 2.
  • Weapon row 1: crossed-weapons icon; ring icon 1; hook icon 3; starburst icon 2; blade icon.
  • Card carries a faction icon (top right).

Sepsimus

  • Left column: Move 3; green shield-with-figure icon 1; Wounds 5; Bounty 2.
  • Weapon row 1: crossed-weapons icon; ring icon 1; crossed-box icon 3; starburst icon 2.
  • Weapon row 2: crossed-weapons icon; ring icon 2; hook icon 2; starburst icon 1; blade icon.

Transcriber note: the fighter cards' weapon-ability and type icons are unlabelled in the source, and the fighter abilities, if any, are not printed on the cards. This section gives the printed values only.
