Warband Warscroll: The Grymwatch
Inspire
After the last Action step in a battle round, pick up to X friendly fighters, where X is the combined Bounty characteristics of slain enemy fighters and enemy fighters in enemy and neutral territory. Inspire those friendly fighters.
In the Name of the King!
Once per battle round, in your Power step, if your leader (crown icon) is on the battlefield, you can use 1 of the following abilities:
- Pick a friendly fighter. Inspire that fighter.
- Pick a slain friendly fighter. Raise them and place them in an empty edge hex.
If you are the underdog (underdog icon), you can use both abilities instead.
Delusions
At the start of each battle round, you can pick 1 of the following delusions to apply for that battle round. Each delusion can only be picked once per game.
Defenders of the Realm
It is the duty of every righteous warrior to serve as protector of the peasantry, and a shield against evil. No foe shall break the cordon!
Each time you make a Save roll for a friendly fighter in friendly territory, you can re-roll 1 dice in that roll.
The Royal Hunt
Hark! The horns are sounded, and proclamations made – the kingdom must be scoured of beasts and ne'er-do-wells. None can escape royal justice!
Friendly fighters' melee weapons have +1 Attack dice if the target of the Attack is damaged.
To the Walls!
It is in the moments of direst peril, when all that is chivalrous and pure stands threatens, that true heroes are made. And the victory feast will surely be spectacular...
You can use the 'In the Name of the King!' ability twice this battle round instead of once.
Transcriber note: the warscroll is printed v1.1. The text is transcribed as printed, and no errata or later rules update was checked against it. The "Delusions" heading is added for structure; the card prints no heading over that block, which begins with the sentence "At the start of each battle round…".
Fighters
The five fighter stat cards below show each fighter's printed values. Their icons carry no legend in the source, so each icon is described by its shape rather than named. Left column, top to bottom: a blue Move value, a green shield value, a red Wounds value and an orange Bounty value. Weapon rows read left to right in the order printed.
