Unit Cards
Each entry gives the card's unit type and stats as printed, followed by its special powers verbatim. Each figure has two printed card faces. The front face shows its name, card number and Move, Range, Attack and Defense. The reverse face shows its keyword line, size, a blood-splat number, its own Attack and Defense values, and its point cost. Both faces are transcribed as printed.
Chain Gruts (Volarak)
Front face (name and stats): Volarak Chain Gruts. Grut 66, Age of Annihilation. Move 5, Range 1, Attack 3, Defense 5.
Reverse face (abilities): Orc, Common Squad, Enforcer, Brutal, Medium 4. Blood-splat number 1. Move 5, Range 1, Attack 2, Defense 3. 75 points.
GUILD BOSS BONDING Before taking a turn with Chain Gruts, you may first take a turn with a Champion you control who is an Orc or who follows Volarak.
CHAIN AXES After rolling attack dice, before defense dice are rolled, you may re-roll 1 die that did not roll a skull.
STRONG-ARM Figures engaged with 1 or more Chain Gruts cannot make leaving engagement attacks against figures that are not Chain Gruts.
Ramosaur Rider (Volarak)
Front face (name and stats): Volarak Ramosaur Rider. Grut 67, Age of Annihilation. Move 7, Range 1, Attack 5, Defense 5.
Reverse face (abilities): Orc, Common Hero, Champion, Wild, Large 6. Blood-splat number 3. Move 7, Range 1, Attack 2, Defense 4. 35 points.
FIRST ASSAULT 1 When attacking with a Ramosaur Rider, if the defending figure was not adjacent to that Ramosaur Rider at the start of the turn, that Ramosaur Rider rolls 1 additional attack die.
HEADBUTT After a Ramosaur Rider makes a normal attack, if there was an equal number of shields in the defense roll as skulls in the attack roll, Ramosaur Rider and the defender must each take 1 wound.
Card Notes
- The two faces of each figure print different Attack and Defense values (Chain Gruts: 3/5 on the front, 2/3 on the reverse; Ramosaur Rider: 5/5 on the front, 2/4 on the reverse). The printed card text does not say which pair applies in play, so both are transcribed as printed. The app should not choose between them without the official rules.
- The blood-splat number on the reverse face is not labelled on the card. It is transcribed as printed (1 for Chain Gruts, 3 for Ramosaur Rider).
- The keyword labels (Orc, Common Squad, Common Hero, Enforcer, Brutal, Champion, Wild, Medium, Large) are defined by the base Heroscape rules, not on these cards.
