Game Setup
- Each player receives a savings book and lays it face up in front of them. Any remaining savings books are not needed and are returned to the box.
Playing a Turn
When it is a player's turn, instead of one of the usual actions, they may choose the new action "Deposit on the Savings Book". The next player clockwise then takes their turn.
Deposit on the Savings Book
The player places one coin from their supply on the field marked "1" of their savings book.
There may only ever be 1 coin on a savings book.
End of a Round
The round ends as usual when every player has taken a delivery truck and placed the tiles from it into their zoo. Then each player who has a coin on their savings book moves that coin to the field with the next higher number.
If the coin reaches the field "4" in this move, the player takes it back into their supply and receives one coin from the bank ("interest").
This also applies in the last round.
Note: The savings book can be used several times during the game.
If a player forgets to move their coin along, they cannot make up for it later.
The empty delivery trucks are returned to the middle of the table as usual, and the next round begins.
Important: The coin may not be taken off the savings book before it has reached the field "4".
End of the Game
In case of a tie, the number of coins decides. A coin that is still on a savings book at the end of the game is counted as well.
If Zooloretto is played together with Aquaretto, a coin that is still on a savings book at the end of the game is also counted for the cashier.
