Preparation

Place the Christmas Gift enclosure face-up in the middle of the table.

Playing the Game

All rules of the original game apply with the following changes:

The first player, who fills his 6-space enclosure, takes the enclosure with the Christmas Gift as a bonus.* He takes it from the middle of the table, placing it below his zoo board, near his barn. The Christmas Gift enclosure remains with this player until the end of the game.

If a player chooses the action "discard a tile", the tile has to be placed on the Christmas Gift enclosure and remains there until the game ends (no remodel action allowed!!). Multiple tiles have to be stacked.

*If Christmas Gift is played with Gorilla, polar bear and/or other similar expansions, the first player may choose which enclosure to take. Other players choose from the remaining enclosures when filling their own 6-space enclosure.

Scoring

At the end of the game, the owner of the Christmas Gift enclosure scores 1 point per tile that is present there.
