The Man in Black (P-03)

Some seek only their name immortalized in ink. But I am a force, a thunder, a wind. And no justice shall be visited upon me that I would otherwise refuse.

Place the Man in Black in the same space as the player with the most Wanted points. The Man in Black fights that player, revealing 4 cards from the fight deck instead of 3. If the Man in Black wins, he gains 3 LP. If no player has the most, or any, Wanted points, each player must discard 1 random poker card from hand instead. The Man in Black gains LP equal to the number of clubs and spades discarded in this way.

The Man in Black (P-04)

There is no law but Death in this place, for I am its hand, red as the dirt under which the wicked have been interred.

Place the Man in Black in the same space as the player with the most Marshal points. The Man in Black fights that player, revealing 4 cards from the fight deck instead of 3. If the Man in Black wins, he gains 3 LP. If no player has the most, or any, Marshal points, each player must discard 1 random poker card. The Man in Black gains LP equal to the number of diamonds and hearts discarded in this way.

The Man in Black (P-05)

Greed is a splinter in the brain of many a foolish person. So it is no small accident that I invite the foolish to join me in this endeavor.

Place the Man in Black in the Darkrock Bank. Starting with the first player, each player within 4 spaces of the Man in Black may attempt to rob the bank. Continue until a player is successful or all players have either chosen to not rob the bank or have failed in their attempt. The first player that is successful gains the reward. If no player is successful, the Man in Black gains 3LP.

The Man in Black (P-06)

Rejoice! For my pity runs deep.

Each player with less LP than the Man in Black gains 1LP. Resolve another Man in Black card.

The Man in Black (P-07)

Shut the door, you rascal!

Place the Man in Black in the Darkrock Sheriff's Office. Each player sets aside all poker cards in their hand. The first player draws poker cards equal to the number of players, chooses 1 to add to their set aside hand, and passes the rest to the player on their right. Continue this until all players have chosen a card. The Man in Black gains 1LP for each player with 3 or more poker cards in hand.

The Man in Black (P-08)

It would behoove you to let me be!

The player with the least LP places the Man in Black in any ranch. Starting with the first player, each player within 4 spaces of that ranch may fight the Man in Black. Continue until a player wins a fight against the Man in Black or all players have either chosen to not fight the Man in Black or have lost a fight with him. The first player to win a fight against the Man in Black reveals the top cattle token from that ranch and gains the reward. If no player wins a fight against the Man in Black, he gains 3 LP.

The Man In Black – Multiplayer Variant

Standard 2-Player Setup: Shuffle all Man in Black cards together to form the deck.

Multiplayer Variant Setup: Remove the following Man in Black cards from the game: P-01, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 15.
