Carbine (P-02)
Cost: $40
Reaction: After cards are revealed in a fight you may roll 1 prospecting die and apply the result:
- X: You lose this fight automatically, and gain 1 additional wound.
- Gold Nugget symbol: Decrease the value of a card played against you by 1.
- $ symbol: Decrease the value of a card played against you by 2.
- Gold Dust symbol: You win this fight automatically.
Transcription note: the card prints the four results as symbols only. The symbols are described here by their shape. Their mapping to the prospecting die faces (Gold Nugget, Tailings, Gold Dust, Gravel) is not printed on the card and is not confirmed by this source. The Gold Nugget and $ symbols are read as the Gold Nugget and Tailings faces, and the X symbol as Gravel, by comparison with the base rulebook's die faces. The fourth symbol is read as Gold Dust by the same comparison. Verify against a higher-resolution scan before relying on this mapping.
