Components

Contents: 72 cards (68 people cards, 4 police tokens).

Object of the Game

Race to be the first player to get rid of all your cards.

Preparation

The police tokens get placed face up, beside each other on the table, so that all the players can reach them easily. Always use one police token less than the number of players who are taking part.

Shuffle all of the people cards and share them out evenly between the players. Any extra cards should be returned to the box. Every player lays his pile of cards face down on the table in front of himself.

The Game Begins

The youngest player begins by turning over the top card from his pile and laying it beside the police tokens in the middle of the table. If the card isn't an action card, then play continues in a clockwise direction with the next player laying a card on top of his predecessor's.

If one of these turned over cards is an action card, then expect a lot of excitement. Depending on which card is turned over, the following activities are carried out simultaneously:

The Judge

Everyone beats their fist on the table and shouts "Guilty!"

The Policeman

Everybody tries as quickly as possible to grab a police token.

The Burglar

Hands up! Everyone sticks their arms up into the air.

The Banker

Everybody slaps their hand onto the played card, or at least on top of a player's hand.

Mistakes

The slowest player gets the pack of cards from the middle and lays it underneath his own pack of cards. Players who misinterpret the action and do the wrong thing, share the pack with the slowest player.

Whoever reacts mistakenly when it isn't an action card, also gets the card pack. Here too, the card pack gets divided up when several players make a mistake.

The faster Wanted! is played, the more fun it becomes.

End of the Game

The winner is the first player to get rid of all of their cards.
