How strong is a Voidborn skirmish?
Designers answered this in several threads and the rulebook says a 0-power skirmish is auto-defended.

Its Fleet Power equals the corruption on your house mat, plus 1 for the Evaluation skirmish in Cycles 2 and 3. It does not depend on the Voidborn Fleet Power in the sector the attack comes from; that sector is only the path. With zero corruption you face 0 in Cycle 1 (auto-defended) and 1 in Cycles 2 and 3.
