Rules
Goal
This game is about building the best village on the table, measured in points. Each card represents a building or territory you can add to your village; most cards are worth points, and many require you to build other cards first.
Setup
Shuffle the deck and deal six cards to each player.
Building
All players build cards from their hands at the same time.
- Build any number of cards from your hand; arrange them in front of you to create your village.
- To build a card, you must first build one of each requirement (listed under the card's title in the upper left).
- You can build a card on the same turn as its requirements, or on a later turn.
- Each card can be used to fulfill only one requirement.
Trading
You may trade cards with other players from your hand, or from your village; however, you cannot trade a card that is being used as a requirement.
Ending Rounds
When everyone is finished trading and building, the round is over.
- Discard any cards that are left in your hand, except two, choose carefully!
- Each player draws six new cards.
- If there are not enough cards, shuffle the discard pile to create a new deck.
Victory
Continue playing until one of the villages is worth at least 20 points. Finish the round, then tally up points (shown in parentheses at the top of each card). The player with the most points wins!
