Components
The game comes with 40 loot coins. The print-and-play file suggests using 40 pennies as loot coins.
There is also a bag for the loot. The print-and-play file suggests using a bag or bowl you have lying around rather than making your own bag.
How to Play
Each player starts with a hand of two party members and one loot token.
On your turn, draw a card and add a new party member to your team.
Then play one of your party members. This will inevitably kill them, so discard this card.
Continue Clockwise. Play until the last recruit is drafted.
Total all of your party members' levels and add one for each loot for your final score.
The ultimate victor is the first to win 3 games.
Other Rules
The loot pot always has a minimum of one loot in it.
Add one coin to the loot pot every round.
If your party is destroyed, on your turn you must flip a loot token two times. If you get it loot side up two times in a row you can redraw and join the game.
On your turn, if you do not start out with 2 party members you must draw from the recruitment pile until you have a full party.
If you destroy a player's team, you receive their loot.
If there is an end game tie, the game is decided with one final hand.
If all but one player have no hands, the remaining player wins.
