The Vagrant moves the full distance, around Terrain and edges if the effect doesn't say it stops, never getting further (Toward) or closer (Away). Toward a Haint stops adjacent to it and the Vagrant is Haunted, and spare movement is lost. Away does not move a Vagrant who can't end farther away.
