Defeated Legend Note (Scheherazade)
Note from the "Defeated Legend" section. The other note on that page, about Snow White and the Match Girl, belongs to the base game and is not transcribed here.
- After one of Scheherazade's opponents is defeated and all of its components are removed from the game, leave all Fate tokens previously placed on the supply decks of the defeated Legend where they currently are (as if those decks were merely empty). Scheherazade must remove them herself later in the game, and at that time these supply decks are considered nonexistent.
Dorothy
Advantages
- Dorothy's greatest strength is that she can use the epic cards she chooses from the very start of the game. Her epic cards need Combo tokens, which are generated by using skills. Other effects can also give her additional tokens through her actions.
- When the system works flawlessly, Dorothy becomes an unstoppable machine. In the late game she also opens a second epic card.
Weaknesses
- Dorothy needs Combo tokens to get the maximum effect from her epic cards. She has to find a good tempo for her actions, deciding when to use her skills to gain Combo tokens and when to spend them to get the full effect.
- Sometimes attack range can be a problem for her.
- Dorothy may find it harder to accumulate energy than some other Legends.
Tips
- When you use a [attack skill icon], you must push the opponent back by the number of spaces equal to [burst icon], if possible. You have a chance to deal a large amount of damage with your attack skills if the opponent is on the edge of the battle track.
- When you use a [move skill icon], you can deal greater damage if the opponent is far from you.
- When you move your opponent using the effect of your twist "Use of Force Authorized" (386), this does not count as a movement action for your opponent. It also does not affect any current combos.
Scheherazade
Advantages
- Scheherazade has the most powerful control skills of all the Legends. Sometimes her opponent must buy cards marked with Scheherazade's Fate tokens to avoid losing HP, while in other situations she will be punished for having too many cards with Fate tokens.
- Scheherazade can also make it harder for her opponent to buy the cards she has marked.
- If Scheherazade's rival falls under her influence, that rival will feel mounting stress throughout the battle.
Weaknesses
- Scheherazade is relatively passive. She has no skills that can actively deal significant damage, and she relies on her opponent losing HP because of her manipulative abilities.
- Defence and mobility are not her strong points.
- Technically, Scheherazade is an avatar of the Weaver of Worlds, so unfortunately you do not have access to the full range of Scheherazade's godlike (or djinn-like) abilities.
Tips
- A supply deck may have more than one Fate token on it. Moreover, even if a supply deck is empty, it still exists.
- In 2-on-2 mode, when you place or move a Fate token onto a supply deck, remember that this deck may belong to any opponent, both on your battle track and on the opposite one. Both of your opponents will be affected by your skills and by the twist "Rewriting Desires" (405) when acquiring cards. However, only the opponent on your battle track loses HP because of red Fate tokens at the start of your turn, even if the red Fate token is in a supply deck available to the opponent on the other battle track.
- In 2-on-2 mode, after one of your opponents is defeated and all of its components are removed from the game, leave all Fate tokens previously placed on the supply decks of the defeated Legend where they currently are (as if those decks were merely empty). Later, when you use the Fate tokens for other purposes, these supply decks will cease to be considered existent.
