How is the Wormhole Nexus placed?

The Wormhole Nexus is optional. Place it off the board; you reach it only by using an Alpha or Beta Wormhole, and it counts as adjacent to every system with such a wormhole. It need not be controlled for the Keeper of the Gates objective.
