Object of the Game

Is to have fun, and of course to win!

To win you have to be the first player to complete one lap of the gameboard and reach the 'WIN' space. This is done by correctly guessing whether or not the statements on the cards are True or False. Correct guesses entitle you to moves around the gameboard.

Contents

Gameboard, 186 Statement cards, Card Holder, 6 x True, 6 x False Answer Cards, 2 x Category Reminder Cards, 6 x Playing Pieces, 1 x Die, 1 x Sand Timer.

Having Even More Fun!

The more people you can get together, the more fun you'll have! The game plays best if there are four or more players. However if you play with smaller groups of two or three players, please read: 'If groups of only two or three are playing' at the end of these rules.

Setting Up the Game

  1. Open up the gameboard.
  2. Take the two category reminder cards from the deck and place them within easy reach of all the players.
  3. Take the 6 True and 6 False answer cards and give each player 1 True and 1 False answer card. Put any additional answer cards that are left over back in the box and out of play.
  4. Load the 186 game cards into the cardholder and place it within reach of all the players.
  5. Each player chooses a playing piece and places it on the Start space.

Playing the Game

  1. Players take it in turns to be the Reader and read out one of the statements on a game card.

On the very first turn, the Reader chooses the card from the front of the card holder and reads any statement he wishes. (Thereafter, the category to be read is determined by what colour space the Reader's play piece is standing on).

  1. On your turn as the Reader, take a game card from the front of the card holder and choose the category that corresponds to the colour on which your gamepiece is standing and read the statement. i.e. if you are on a yellow space, read the statement in the yellow band corresponding to Animals and Nature. The statement is then read out loud so that all the other players can hear it. As soon as the statement has been read the sandtimer is turned over. The other players have until the timer runs out to place down true or false answer cards (approx. 15 seconds).

The game cards are divided into the following, colour-coded categories.

  • Yellow: Animals and Nature
  • Green: Said and Done
  • Orange: Past Times
  • Blue: Potpourri
