Can I place a cube on an outdoor activity using a die of the colour it affects?
No for the level III activity that returns a die: you can't place a cube there with a die of its own colour, which stops the game dragging on. A purple die likewise can't feed the activity that rerolls purple, but can feed the one that rerolls yellow.
