Can I mix dice of different colours in one action?
The rulebook requires a group of the same colour for each action.

No. A group must be 1 to 3 dice of one colour. The exceptions are the Pilgrimage and Apprenticeship activity cards, which accept dice of different colours. You may use fewer dice than you have of a colour and keep the rest.
