When Trick Overhaul swaps a trick, do its markers on Performance cards stay?

No. The markers still on the old trick card move to the new trick, but markers already on Performance cards are discarded, because returning a trick removes them and the card does not override that part. Early forum readings that they could stay were corrected by the designer. The card does not waive the new trick's requirements either.
