Can one Character prepare several tricks in a single Workshop placement?
Several players and the Magician Workbook agree on multiple Prepares per placement; the designer only ruled that a Special Assignment bonus covers one Prepare action.

Yes, as many as your AP allows, limited by your markers, but each trick only once because a trick must be empty to be prepared. The Special Assignment bonus (such as Magic Diversity) applies to a single Prepare action, not to every trick prepared.
