If two markers of the same trick are in a performance, does Grand Premiere double both?

Most players say only one marker is doubled. The card affects one Trick, the first time it is performed in the game, and a second marker of the same trick is not a new first performance. The designer's wording says to choose one Trick, but he did not rule on two markers, and one poster argues his rewrite could be read the other way.
