Treat blocking pieces as another player's, so a covered weekday is blocked including backstage spots. Build a face-up deck at setup and reveal the top card each round, with the next visible for planning. Grey spots on 2-player Performance cards are neutral: you cannot place on them, but linking to one gives the normal bonus at the level of your placed trick.
