Does Bargain discount the combined total of several Buy actions?

The rulebook ties Bargain to a Buy, and most community posts apply the discount and its 1-coin floor per Buy, though a couple of players disagree.

No. One Buy action covers a single component type (up to three of it), and Bargain works with that one Buy: each AP spent on it lowers that purchase by 1 coin, down to a minimum of 1 coin. Buying two component types takes two Buy actions, each with its own possible discount. A couple of players read the 1-coin floor as applying to the whole turn's spending instead, so agree on it at your table.
