What Is TOSSIT?
TOSSIT is a mix of darts and boccia/pétanque that brings young and old together in a very simple and entertaining game. Indoors or outdoors, at home or on the go, take it anywhere, start a game immediately and have a great time.
How to Play
Classic rules as in boccia/pétanque
The goal is to be the first to score 13 points by placing the TOSSIT darts as close as possible to the Jack (black). The other team throws until it is closer.
You receive one point for each TOSSIT that is closer to the Jack than the opponent's. The winner starts the round by throwing the Jack.
How to Toss
Hold the dart by the stem instead of the front part.
Unlike pointed darts, you do not place the fingers on the heavy front part, but along the body/stem up to the wings. Push it forward, similar to a shot put. Gravity provides a perfect arc on landing on a horizontal surface.
For vertical surfaces you must push harder to give it a more direct trajectory. Here you should aim somewhat higher than the actual target. The dart must fly in order to use its aerodynamics. It is therefore important to keep a distance of 2-3 m from the playing surface.
The satisfying suction sound at the end confirms success.

Color Mode
1 vs 1 - ONLY ONE SET NEEDED
All players throw their TOSSIT darts simultaneously until no darts are left. The player who has the most darts standing throws the Jack. In case of a tie, the players decide with rock-paper-scissors. If one of them has scored a Kiss or Jump-Over, he has priority and throws the Jack.
The goal is to place the Jack as close as possible to your own darts in order to score the most points. Points are counted in the same way as in the boccia/pétanque mode.
Duel Mode
1 vs 1 - ONLY ONE SET NEEDED
Choose two identical surfaces, ideally on a table or the floor. Face your opponent and keep a distance of 3 to 4 meters. Rock-paper-scissors decides who starts. The first player must throw the 7 darts (the Jack last) onto the opponent's surface. The goal is to place as many TOSSIT darts as possible and finish with the Jack.
As soon as the Jack successfully sticks to the designated surface, each standing dart on that surface scores one point. The first player to reach 21 points wins.
The challenge is to place the Jack at the end. If you fail, you score zero points. A Kiss gives one extra point and a Jump-Over gives two extra points.
Easy to understand, entertaining and perfect for an evening together or an aperitif.
Battle Mode
1 vs 1 - ONLY ONE SET NEEDED
Here you must be faster and more efficient than your opponent to be the first to reach 21 points.
Choose a surface onto which you throw your TOSSIT darts (table, car, window, etc.), and position yourself and your opponent at the same distance from this surface. Someone gives the signal "TOSS IT!" and both players begin throwing their darts until they have none left.
The first player to throw his last dart calls "Stop" to prevent the opponent from throwing further darts. Speed is therefore crucial. Each dart that sticks to the chosen surface counts 1 point.
Collect your darts and begin a new round until someone reaches 21 points. There are fast-throwing techniques that can tip the game if your opponent is close to winning. We leave it to you to discover these and to surprise your opponent with clever moves.
If two valid darts (i.e. sticking to the chosen surface) touch each other, it is a Kiss. If they belong to the same player, he receives an additional point; otherwise they are eliminated.
