Caverns of Bane introduces treasures to Thunderstone Advance.
Treasures
Cards with a gold frame are treasures. You gain these extra rewards for defeating certain monsters, but you'll have to work hard for them!
The treasure randomizer has a Monster Randomizer back. When randomly creating a dungeon deck, shuffle all cards with those backs together. If you draw the treasure randomizer, place it with the other drawn monster randomizers, and keep drawing until you have 3 monster groups. Then shuffle treasures into the dungeon deck with the monster groups. You can also just choose to play with treasures, and skip randomization.
When you reveal a treasure card while refilling the hall, place the treasure card in the open rank farthest from the deck just like normal, and then reveal another card from the dungeon deck. If it is another treasure, stack it on top of the treasure you just put out and reveal another card. Repeat this until you reveal a monster. Once you reveal a monster, put it on top of the treasure card(s). The treasure is now part of that monster's hoard, and the monster uses it in combat against you!
When fighting that monster in the dungeon, treat trait text, Battle effects, and Aftermath effects above the bold line as though they were printed on the monster card itself. If a monster gets two or more treasure cards, they are all considered part of the monster card.
If you defeat the monster, place it and all of its treasure into your discard pile. You have claimed your prize! When you draw the treasure into your hand, use the text and abilities below the line—the power of the treasure is now yours.
If you do not defeat the monster, or if the monster leaves the hall for any other reason, remove the treasure from the game. It becomes lost to the black reaches of the dungeon, a mysterious legend told in darkened taverns for years to come.

Card Glossary
Darkling: Revealed cards do not go into your hand, and are not considered present. If the revealed card is not destroyed, discard it immediately.
Disowned Berserker: The hero to be destroyed must be a card other than this card.
Disowned Bloodrager: If another card or effect allows you to equip multiple weapons, they are in addition to the 2 that the Bloodrager may equip.
Disowned Reaver: Unlike other levels of Disowned where effects and abilities only affect other heroes, a Reaver can kill herself with her Dungeon ability.
Dusk Hunter: Revealed cards do not go into your hand, and are not considered present. If the revealed card is not destroyed, discard it immediately.
Dwarven Ale: You may use the Dungeon ability before the Trophy effect takes place. Remember, Trophy effects occur in both the dungeon and the village.
Geyser Salamander: If multiple heroes have the highest Strength, choose 1 to destroy.
Liveoak Staff: The weaker the hero this weapon is equipped to, the stronger the weapon. For example, if a hero with Strength 2 equips a Liveoak Staff, then the weapon grants +4 Physical Attack. (6 – 2 = 4)
Owl Eyes: Ignoring Darkness penalties is not equivalent to removing Darkness. Monsters or effects that require light retain those requirements. If a card causes you to suffer a Light penalty (such as Smokeplume Drake), it has no effect on this card.
Rot Grub: A hero's Attack Value includes equipped weapons, and any abilities or effects that modify its Attack Value.
Skinshifter Terror: This ability allows you only one additional bonus. It does not add more than a total of +8 Physical Attack and +6 Strength.
Tuath Banisher: Ignoring Darkness penalties is not equivalent to removing Darkness. Monsters or effects that require Light retain those requirements.
FAQ
What does it mean for a card to be "present"? The card is in your hand at the time the effect takes place. Note that cards are not played from your hand—your hand is revealed when you visit the village or enter the dungeon. Cards drawn or added to your hand during a turn become present when you draw them. When an ability or effect does not specify the location of the card to be acted on, it refers to a card "present."
What happens when I reveal a card from my deck? Some abilities or effects direct you to reveal a card from your deck. Take the top card, use it as directed, and then put it in your discard pile. These cards are not considered part of your hand, and don't affect play in any other way.
Which card is "this card"? When this term appears on a card, it means "the card these words are printed on."
Why are there no dividers for the new curse or the Thunderstone Bearers? Use the dividers from Towers of Ruin, the previous set of Thunderstone Advance.
Errata
The rules for Thunderstone 7 contained errors which require some clarification.
Regular: Regular cards do not have the Hero keyword. They are heroes, as indicated by their blue frame.
Trophy Effects: When a player takes the Prepare or Rest action, Trophy effects do not activate. The active player is not required to reveal his or her hand.
Solo Rules Addendum

- Imp (ToR)
- Dire Wolf (ToR)

Scenarios
These scenarios represent the continued hunt for Thunderstones near Cheah Dell. The cards in the setups are mostly drawn from Caverns of Bane, but a few, denoted by (ToR), are from the Towers of Ruin set.
Goron's Den
"Goron Singlemind is good at one thing. He keeps coming. Once he brings his bandits after you, nothing deters him. It's better to just give him what he wants than to fight for it. He's a typical orc though, not too bright. Come at him with a variety of tactics, and he gets overwhelmed."

Ichor Pit
"Some say Xobmokt was a middling wizard, too curious. Some say he was a maniac chasing eternal life. However he got there, he found a way to merge with a translucent viscoid. This new form destroyed his human body, gave him a ceaseless hunger, and control over mindless things. Consuming became its passion, and the Ichor King consumed Caligin. But now the time for prophecy comes due! We reclaim our home and drive out the menace!"

Halls of Black Flame
"The only visibility comes from molten rock so hot, it can't help but shed light. Otherwise, it's a gauntlet of oppressive heat and smothering darkness. There is no craftsmanship. No honor. No harmony. No peace. None of the things we value. Just darkness and heat and an awful task."
