What happens to messenger cards and tokens when a new card is drawn or the game ends?

A newly revealed messenger card replaces the old one at once; the old card goes aside and its tokens are collected. At game end, collect any remaining tokens and reshuffle all 14 messenger cards for the next game. Messenger effects never carry over between games.
