Setup

Set up the base game as usual. Add the three new expedition cards to the 12 card piles next to the market board.

Expedition Cards

Powerful Paddle

Helps with crossing rivers.

Binoculars

Choose a card from the market board and copy its effect as if you were playing it. Then remove the Binoculars from the game, but leave the choosen [sic] card on the market board.

Card text, as printed on the card: "Choose any one card from the market board and copy its effect."

Brute

You can't use this card to move onto a space with one or two symbols. Ignore any requirements of the target space (see, Native). The Brute allows you to move onto a space which is occupied by another playing piece.

Card text, as printed on the card: "Move your playing piece onto an adjacent space (empty or occupied) with at least 3 symbols."
