- Shaker Board. Attach the Shaker Board to the left side of your Player Board.
- Tip Dice. Place your 2 Tip Dice on the two spaces located at the top of your Shaker Board.
- Mixologists (Workers). Place your 3 Mixologist pawns on the designated spaces of your Player Board. Also place 1 Mixologist on the level 2 space of the Experience Tiles area.

General Overview
The first player begins, and play proceeds clockwise. The game ends once a total of 15 client orders have been collectively completed (9 orders in a 1-2 player game). The player who triggers the end of the game will automatically perform a Bar Setup on their next turn. The other players then continue playing until they each perform one final Bar Setup. Then proceed to final scoring. The player with the most Victory Points (VP) wins the game.
Turn Overview
On your turn, you perform a single Main Action by placing one of your Mixologists (workers) on an action space, either on your Player Board or on the Main board. This Main Action is the core of your turn and defines your strategic choices. Action Spaces are not blocked by Mixologists. Any number of Mixologists may occupy the same Action Space.
In addition, you may perform one Additional Action per turn, either before or after your Main Action. These Additional Actions expand your options, but never replace your Main Action.
Once all your Mixologists have been used (end of a round), you perform a Bar Setup on your next turn: your engine activates, your cards trigger their effects, and you gain various bonuses.
Main Actions (Player Board)
These actions form the core of the game. They allow you to develop your bar (engine), satisfy your Clients, and progress in both technique and experience, enabling you to craft increasingly elaborate cocktails.
- Take 1 Client Card
- Take 2 different Ingredients from the Bar Supply
- Prepare 1 Cocktail to Complete an Order
- Add 1 Extra Tip Die
- Acquire 1 Technique Card
- Acquire 1 Shaker
Main Actions outside the Player Board
- Refresh the Clients Cards (Only once per round)
- Refresh All Ingredients in the Bar Supply (Only once per round)
- Add 1 Bar Space (Only once per game)
Additional Actions
In addition to your Main Action, you may perform one Additional Action per turn.
These more targeted actions help you adjust your resources, prepare upcoming moves, or trigger effects that make the difference at the right moment.
You may activate only 1 per turn, either before or after your Main Action.
- Buy Ingredients from the Store
- Take 2 different Ingredients from the Bar Supply
- Refresh the Client Cards (Only once per round)
- Refresh all Ingredients in the Bar Supply (Only once per round)
- Acquire Shakers
- Acquire 1 Bar Space (Only once per game)

Overview
Techniques
The Technique Die
Each player has a Technique Die placed on their Player Board. The value of this die indicates their current Technique level, which determines access to certain Client Cards.
Technique Die Movement
Moving the Technique Die on the Technique Tile allows you to gain the bonus shown on the destination space. Movement is only allowed orthogonally.
Some effects grant a single (+1), double (+2), or triple (+3) advancement. In all cases, only the bonus of the final space reached is gained, not those of the intermediate spaces.
However, you may choose to limit your movement. For example, if you have a triple advancement, you may decide to move only 2 spaces.
Technique Die Increase
During the game, you will have opportunities to increase the value of your Technique Die through certain actions or card bonuses. Each increase unlocks access to more complex Clients Cards and expands your strategic options.
The progression of the Technique Die is always done point by point, following the value shown on the die. The maximum value is 6: you cannot go beyond this limit, even if an effect or bonus would grant you an additional increase.
Tip Dice
The Tip Dice represent the generosity (or stinginess!) of your clients once their cocktails are served.
Each die has faces showing $1, $2, or $3. You can gain additional dice through the "Add a Tip Die" action. When a cocktail is completed:
- Gain the fixed $ amount indicated on the Client Card.
- Roll the number of Tip Dice shown on the card, and if you wish, add up to 2 additional dice from your Shaker Board.
- Add the total result to your earnings.
The permanent Tip Dice on your Shaker Board remain available for future services. Additional dice are temporary: after being used, they are immediately returned to the Main Board. If the reserve of additional dice is empty when you want to gain one, you may take a die from another player's board.
Example: Sasha completes a Client Card that gives $5 and shows the icon for 2 Tip Dice. She has 1 extra die on her Shaker Board and chooses to use it. She first gains $5, then rolls 3 dice (the 2 shown on the card plus her extra die). She rolls $1, $2, and $3, adding $6 to her earnings for a total of $11. Since her extra die was used, it is returned to the Main Board.
Experience
The Experience tiles represent your learning and progress behind the bar. They provide permanent or one-time effects that strengthen your engine and open up new strategic opportunities.
Types of Effects:
- Level 1: Permanent effects triggered when taking a Client Card or a Technique Card.
- Level 2: Permanent effects triggered when completing a Client Card, making a purchase at the Store, or taking a Client Card.
- Level 3: Unique effects (once per game).
Acquisition
Experience Tiles are gained through certain card bonuses or Clients Track bonuses.
They are placed directly on the player's Board.
They are earned one level at a time: it is not possible to take a level 3 tile before having acquired levels 1 and 2.
The second Experience Tile automatically unlocks a 4th Mixologist, allowing you to perform 1 Main Action and 1 Additional Action per round.
Usage
Permanent effects activate automatically when their condition is met.
Unique effects are kept face up and may be triggered at the moment of your choice during your turn. Once used, place one of your cubes on the tile to indicate it has been used.
Example: Sasha gains an Experience Tile thanks to a Clients Track bonus. Since it's her second tile, she unlocks her 4th Mixologist, she will therefore be able to perform 1 Main Action and 1 Additional Action each round. Later, she uses a Level 3 Experience Tile that allows her to roll her Tip Dice twice when she completes her next cocktail and gain the rewards from each roll. After activating it, she places one of her cubes on the tile to indicate that it has been used.
Main Actions (Player Board)
These Main Actions require placing one of your Mixologists. You may perform the Main Action either before or after an Additional Action.
Take 1 Client Card
Condition: Place a Mixologist on the corresponding action space on your Player Board
Resolution: According to your Technique level (see Technique Die section), take 1 Client Card from the Main Board. Place it on your Player Board with a glass. Immediately activate the Instant Bonus shown. Immediately slide the remaining cards down and replace the missing card on the Main Board.
Important: You may only perform this action if you have an empty Bar Space. You may not replace a Client Card.
Example: Sasha places a Mixologist on the "Take a Client Card" action. She then takes the Client Card for the level 2 Paloma cocktail, places it on her Player Board with a glass, and immediately gains the Instant Bonus: taking 1 Ingredient of her choice from the Store.
Take 2 different Ingredients from the Bar Supply
Condition: Place a Mixologist on the corresponding action space on your Player Board.
Resolution: Take 2 different Ingredients from the Bar Supply. Place them on your player board (in a Glass if a Client Card is present there, or in your reserve). Once placed in a Glass, they cannot be moved.
Important: Your supply can hold up to 3 Ingredients.
You may always move Ingredients from your Reserve to your Glass when a Cocktail Card is present. Ingredients cannot be moved from a Glass back to a Reserve.
Example: Sasha places a Mixologist on the "Take 2 different Ingredients from the Bar Supply" action. She takes 2 different Ingredients, placing one in a glass and the other in her supply.
Add 1 Extra Tip Die

Resolution: Take 1 Tip Die from the Main Board. Place it on your Shaker Board in the Tip Dice area.
Prepare 1 Cocktail to Complete an Order
Condition: Place a Mixologist on the action space, then spend 1 Shaker.
Resolution: Discard and return the used Ingredients to the Store. Gain the $ shown on the Clients Card. Roll the number of Tip Dice indicated on the card and gain the $ obtained. Place the completed card next to your Player Board.
Example: Sasha places a Mixologist on the "Prepare 1 Cocktail to Complete an Order" and spends 1 Shaker. She discards the Ingredients from the glass, gains $5 from the card, rolls 1 Tip Die and gains $2. She then places the completed card next to her Player Board.
Acquire 1 Technique Card
Condition: Place a Mixologist on the corresponding action space on your Player Board, then spend 1 Shaker.
Resolution: Choose a Technique Card. Place it in one of the 3 spaces at the bottom of your Player Board. Increase your Technique Die by +1. You may replace one of your cards, then place the previous one at the bottom of the deck. Immediately slide the remaining cards down and replace the missing card on the Main Board.
Example: Sasha places a Mixologist on the "Acquire 1 Technique Card" action and spends 1 Shaker. She places a Technique Card in her area and increases her Technique Die from 2 to 3.
Acquire 1 Shaker
Condition: Place a Mixologist on the corresponding action space on your Player Board.
Resolution: Take 1 Shaker from the supply and place it next to your Player Board.

Important: You are not allowed to choose this action if the Bar Supply is already full. This action can only be performed once per round per player, as either a Main or Additional Action.
Example: Sasha places a Mixologist on the Main Board action, refills all Ingredients in the Bar, and moves her pawn 5 spaces forward on the VP track.
Add 1 Bar Space — Once per game.
Condition: Place a Mixologist on the corresponding action space of the Main Board and spend 1 Shaker.
Requirement: You must have reached Experience level 1 (have 1 tile on your Player Board) to add a Bar Space.

Example: Sasha places a Mixologist on the Main Board action "Add 1 Bar Space" and spends 1 Shaker. She then selects a Bar Space from the stack and places it to the right of her Player Board with an extra glass.
Additional Actions
You may activate only one Additional Action per turn, either before or after your Main Action. You are not required to perform an Additional Action on your turn.
Take 2 different Ingredients from the Bar Supply

Unlimited Action — Exchange 2 Identical Ingredients
Condition: Discard 2 identical Ingredients from your personal supply.
Resolution: Take 1 Ingredient of your choice from the Store.
Individual end of round
When does your round end?
Your round ends once you have placed all of your Mixologists. First, finish your current turn (Main Action and, if applicable, an Additional Action).
What Happens Next
On your next turn, instead of placing a Mixologist, you perform your Bar Setup. A Bar Setup counts as a full turn. Once it is complete, your round ends; it's the next player's turn to play, and on your following turn you will start a new round (with all your Mixologists returned).
Important Reminders
During your Bar Setup, you do not perform a Main Action or an Additional Action; you only follow the steps of the Bar Setup Track in order (with the freedom to choose the activation order within each step).
"Bar Setup" effects from your Client Cards/Bar Spaces/Technique Cards are resolved during Bar Setup.
Bar Setup is sequential: it is your turn; once finished, it becomes the next player's turn.
Example: Sasha has just placed her 4th and final Mixologist to prepare a cocktail. She resolves the action: she discards the required Ingredients, gains $6, and rolls 2 Tip Dice for an additional $3. Her turn ends. Since she has no Mixologists remaining, her next turn will be her Bar Setup.
On her next turn, instead of placing a Mixologist, Sasha proceeds through the Bar Setup steps: she activates her completed Clients Cards, her Bar Space, and her Technique Card; she pays maintenance costs, then retrieves her Mixologists. Finally, she chooses to refresh the Spirits (blue) in the Bar Supply on the Main Board.
Her Bar Setup is complete, her Individual Round is over, and play passes to the next player.
Phase: Individual Bar Setup
Bar Setup Sequence
When it is time to perform your Bar Setup, follow the steps shown on the Bar Setup Track of your Player Board.
You only carry out these steps, in the order indicated, but you are free to activate components within the same group in any order you choose (e.g., the order of completed Clients Cards).
Bar Setup Steps
-
Activate your completed Clients Cards, in the order of your choice.
-
Activate your Bar Spaces, in the order of your choice.
-
Activate your Technique Cards, in the order of your choice.
-
Pay Upkeep. Pay the amounts of money indicated:
- Bar Spaces: $2 if a Client card is present (max $4)
- 3rd Technique Card: $2
- 3rd Ingredient in your personal supply: $2
NOTE: If you cannot pay upkeep for an item, take 1 Penalty Token for each item concerned.
-
Activate Bar Setup effects from expansions (Glasses, Shooters, others).
-
Retrieve your Mixologists.
-
Choose 1 missing Ingredient in the Bar Supply and refill all tokens of that Ingredient type in the Bar Supply.
End of the Game
End Game Conditions
The game ends once a total of 15 client orders have been collectively completed (9 orders in a 1-2 player game). The player who triggers the end of the game will automatically perform a Bar Setup on their next turn. The other players then continue playing until they each perform one final Bar Setup.
Then proceed to final scoring.
Final Scoring
At the end of the game, add the following end-game points to those already recorded on the VP track:
- Money: 2 $ = 1 VP
- Shaker: 1 shaker = 1 VP
- Remaining Ingredients: 1 Ingredient = 1 VP (whether in a glass or in your personal supply)
- Technique Die: Current die level = VP (die showing 5 = 5 VP)
- Add the VP shown on the 3 Collection Cards
- Subtract 1 VP for each Penalty Token
Example: Completed Client Cards
- 1 card = 1 VP
- 2 cards = 2 VP
- 3 cards = 4 VP
- 4 cards = 6 VP
- 5+ cards = 8 VP
The player with the most Victory Points (VP) wins the game!
In case of a tie:
The player who completed the most Client Cards wins. If still tied, the player with the highest $ value of completed Client Cards wins. If still tied, the player with the most remaining Shakers wins. If the tie persists: the victory is shared… or start a new game!
Clients Track
The Clients Track is used to follow the number of Clients Cards completed, both individually and collectively.
The Fox pawn represents the group's collective progress. Each Client pawn represents the individual progress of its player. Collective rewards are unlocked when the Fox pawn reaches the corresponding thresholds, while individual rewards are unlocked when a player's Client pawn reaches those same thresholds. In both cases, rewards apply to all players at the appropriate time, depending on whether they are collective or individual.
The game ends when 15 Client Cards are collectively completed with 3-4 players, or 9 Client Cards with 2 players.
The Clients Track runs from space 1 to space 15. Space 9 marks the End of Game with 1-2 Players, and space 15 marks the End of Game with 3-4 Players. Collective Bonuses appear at spaces 3, 5, and 7; Player Bonuses appear at spaces 2, 4, and 6.
Clients Track Bonus
Optionally, you may add 3 Client Track Bonus tiles at random.
- Advance your Technique Die
- Increase your Technique Die
- 1 Ingredient from the Store
- Win 1 Shaker
- Win 1 Victory Point
- Win $2
Collection Cards
Final Scoring: Collection Cards
Collection Cards allow you to score victory points at the end of the game based on specific sets of elements you have acquired during play. Each Collection Card indicates a condition (types, quantities, or combinations) and the associated points. At the end of the game, add up the points for each condition fulfilled, based on the corresponding elements in your possession.
Only completed Client Cards are taken into account for Collection Cards.
- Completed Client Cards: 1 card = 1 VP / 2 cards = 2 VP / 3 cards = 4 VP / 4 cards = 6 VP / 5+ cards = 8 VP
- Technique Cards: 1 card = 2 VP / 2 cards = 4 VP / 3 cards = 6 VP
- Experience Tiles: 1 tile = 2 VP / 2 tiles = 5 VP / 3 tiles = 7 VP
- Completed Level 3 Client Cards: 1 card = 1 VP / 2 cards = 3 VP / 3 cards = 5 VP / 4+ cards = 7 VP
- Completed Client Cards Level 1/2/3: 2 VP per card
- Completed Client Cards Level 5/6: 3 VP per card
Exemple: At the end of the game, Sasha scores the 3 Collection Cards in play.
She has 3 Technique Cards. She also has 5 completed Client Cards, including 2 Client Cards of Technique Level 1, 1 Client Card of Technique Level 2, and 2 Client Cards of Technique Level 5. She also has 2 Experience Tiles.
Her 3 Technique Cards do not score her any VP in this game. Since she has 5 completed Client Cards, she gains 8 VP. She also gains VP from her completed Client Cards: 4 VP for the 2 Client Cards of Technique Level 1, 2 VP for the Client Card of Technique Level 2, and 0 VP for the 2 Client Cards of Technique Level 5. Her 2 Experience Tiles score a total of 5 VP. She therefore gains a total of 19 VP from the Collection Cards in play.

Solo Mode
They stood before you: Jerry and Ada, two legendary mixologists. Without thinking too much, you issued this challenge. Was it boldness… or recklessness? The beginning will be brutal. They will quickly take the lead.
Face Jerry (easy) or Ada (hard) and try to score more VP than they do.
Setup
Set up the game as for a 2-player game (pages 6 to 9), then:
- Place the Solo Board showing the side corresponding to the chosen difficulty: Jerry or Ada. Take one player's components to represent Jerry or Ada.
- Place 2 Tip Dice at the top of the Solo Board. Set the Technique Die to value 1.
- Place 1 cube on the Solo Board Clients track and 1 cube on the Rounds track. Place the remaining cubes nearby to track VP.
- Shuffle the Solo cards and place them face down near the Solo Board. Place the Clients marker on space 0 of the main board Clients track. Place the VP marker on space 0 of the Victory Points track.
Solo Game Flow
Jerry or Ada always takes the first turn.
Start of each round
Take 1 Client card matching the level of Jerry or Ada's Technique Die and place it face up near the Solo Board. This is the active Client card. If multiple cards are available, take the lowest one in the column. Otherwise, draw a card from that column.
Turn sequence
Each turn, Jerry or Ada reveals and resolves 1 Solo card. Once all cards for the round have been revealed, their next turn is entirely devoted to the Bar Setup phase.
Resolving a Solo card
Resolve effects in the following order:
- Main Action
- Additional Action (from the previous card)
- Instant Bonus
Number of cards per round
Rounds 1 and 2: 3 Solo cards Round 3 and later: 4 Solo cards
Important
Cards should slightly overlap so that the Additional Action remains visible. The Additional Action always comes from the card directly underneath the newly revealed card.
When resolving the first card of a round, no Additional Action is performed. Ada still gains 2 VP, as indicated on the Solo Board.
Bar Setup Phase
After resolving all of the cards for the round, Jerry or Ada performs the following steps:
1. Progression. Move the cube down on the Rounds track.
2. Discard. Discard all Solo cards used during the round.
3. Client card. Complete the active Client card.
Spend a number of Ingredient tokens equal to the requirement shown, ignoring types. If needed, the cost can be completed using shakers or by spending money at a rate of 5 $ per missing Ingredient.
Roll the Tip Dice indicated on the card, as well as any additional dice if applicable, then gain the resulting amounts.
Also gain the $ shown on the card. Each 2 $ is converted into 1 VP. Convert all money, then return it to the supply.
4. Clients. Advance the cube on the Solo Board Clients track and immediately apply the indicated bonus. Then move the Clients marker on the main board Clients track. Jerry and Ada do not gain bonuses from this track.
5. Refresh. Refresh 1 type of Ingredient in the Bar supply, following this priority: from right to left, then from bottom to top.
6. Next round. Take 1 new Client card. If round 5 has been passed, Jerry gains 1 VP and Ada gains 2 VP each round instead of taking a Client card.
7. Solo cards. Draw 3 or 4 Solo cards depending on the round. If the deck is empty, shuffle the discard pile to form a new deck.
End of game
The game ends when the 9th Client card is completed. The round ends immediately for the player who triggers the end of the game. That player then performs a Setup phase. The other player finishes their round, then performs one final Setup phase.
Final scoring
Jerry or Ada scores VP like a normal player, except for money, which has already been converted. The following elements are counted:
- Ingredients = 1 VP each
- Shakers = 1 VP each
- Collections VP
- Technique Die Value = VP

Reminders
Turn Summary
On your turn, place 1 Mixologist on an action. Perform 1 mandatory Main Action and, if you wish, 1 Additional Action (before or after the Main Action). Once your actions are complete, your turn ends and the next player takes theirs.
End of an Individual Round
When you have placed all your Mixologists, your round ends. On your next turn, instead of taking an action, you perform your Bar Setup. A Bar Setup counts as a full turn.
How to Score Points
Complete Client Cards Gain bonuses from Technique Cards Gain bonuses from Experience Tiles End of the game: Perform final scoring
End of the Game
The end of the game is triggered when a player completes the 15th Client Card (9 Client Cards in a 1-2 players game). The other players, who did not trigger the end of the game, continue their round until their final Bar Setup phase. Then proceed to the final scoring to determine the winner.
