The following corrections and judgment calls were made against the source text. Each is a fix of an obvious database artifact, not a change to the rules.

  • "copiues" in the To Catch an Orc setup text is corrected to "copies".
  • "amoung" in the Tangled Forest text is corrected to "among".
  • The source's type and trait labels "Ort" and "Berg" on Methedras Peak are rendered as "Location" and "Mountain".
  • The source's Blocking Huorn text has a gap where a game icon belongs ("it adds its / to the staging area"). The gap is shown as "[icon]" and was not filled from memory. The card face should be checked to confirm which icon is printed.
  • The source does not label the numbers on the enemy and location cards. They are reproduced in the order the source lists them, in a "Stat line as printed" line, and not assigned labels.
  • The source gives each encounter card's deck membership and quantity. Those quantities are reproduced as "×N" after each card name, and the cards are grouped under the Nightmare Deck they belong to.
  • Printed grammar is kept as the source gives it: "Each player discard" (Mugash's Cunning), "remove 1 progress the current quest card" (Vengeful Hillman) and "Attacking enemy gets +3 and +3" (Mugash's Cunning).
  • The source names "The Fords of Isen" with a leading "The" in the setup text. It is kept as printed.
  • The Savage Hillman text has no closing full stop in the source; one is added.
  • The source's stat numbers are unlabelled. The Voice of Isengard stat line order is taken from the sibling Nightmare Deck entries (threat, engagement cost, attack, defense, hit points); the card face was not checked against a scan.
