Setup
Shuffle the new Nightmare and Trap cards into the standard deck, then remove 3 cards.
Source note: this setup note comes from the BGG product description. The card faces do not state which cards are removed, or whether they go back in the box. Check against the base rulebook or a publisher sheet before relying on it.
Card Faces
Each photographed card shows a yellow Trap face and a purple Nightmare face. The text of each face is given below exactly as printed. The numbers and icons in each card's header bar are reproduced as printed, not interpreted.
Card 1
Trap face (yellow header: shield icon with values 2 and 0)
- When Placed: Select any 2 cards in the sea; swap their positions. (You may select this trap.)
Nightmare face (purple header: values 2 and 2, three skull icons)
- When Defeated: If this is directly between 2 cards, swap those cards' positions.
Card 2
Trap face (yellow header: shield icon with values 1 and 3)
- When Placed: You may discard 1 card from your hand. If you do, regain 2 health.

- When Placed: This nightmare and the leftmost trap swap positions.
Card 3
Trap face (yellow header: shield icon with values 2 and 2)

Nightmare face (purple header: values 3 and 1, two skull icons)
- When Defeated: The leftmost trap is moved to the rightmost position.
Card 4
Trap face (yellow header: shield icon with values 1 and 4)
- When Defeated: You may move another trap into this trap's position.

- When Placed: Gain 1 additional "Place a Trap" action this turn.
Nightmare face (purple header: values 1 and 3, two skull icons)
