Iron Dragon Rules
Rules card, titled "Iron Dragon" (Железный дракон), section "Rules" (Правила).
- The Iron Dragon board counts as a Location with 3 Clerk spaces when playing with 1–3 players, or a Location with 4 Clerk spaces when playing with 4–5 players.
- The Iron Dragon board is a new regular Location, but Clerks move into it only by special rules. Each time a player moves their Clerk(s), they may pay 1 Chi to move 1 more Clerk from their supply into the Iron Dragon Location.
- When this Location activates, 1 Horde marked with the Iron Dragon's X-box icon that is a target of the Iron Dragon this year is immediately defeated. Defeating a Horde (including killing [red diamond icon]) is resolved by the normal rules. Then each player with at least 1 Clerk in this Location gains 2 Honor.
Setup
Setup text from the second help card, titled "Iron Dragon" (Железный дракон).
Place the Iron Dragon deck and the Iron Dragon board under the play area (the main board).
Each Spring
At the start of each Spring:
- Reveal a new Iron Dragon card and place it on top of the previous one. The card marks the Horde units that will be the Iron Dragon's targets this year.
- If you must reveal a new Iron Dragon card but the deck has run out, shuffle the discard pile and form a new deck.
Translator's Notes
- The source is two photographed help cards. It is not a complete rulebook, and the translation has not been checked against an official English text. No English Iron Dragon rules were found in the sources checked for this transcription.
- The five Iron Dragon shot-effect cards (drawn from the mini-deck) are not covered. Their card faces carry no legible text in the photographs.
- The Russian word область ("area") is rendered as "Location" to match the base game's terminology.
- Resource icon: the blue cube on rule 2 is read as Chi, the blue resource in the base game. This identification is by colour and was not checked against a printed icon key.
- Icon: the white dragon icon in rule 3 is read as Honor, the base game's point track symbol.
- Icons: the Clerk icon is a bearded figure in an orange box. The X-box icon is read as a Horde marker, since the spring text says the card marks the Horde units that are targets. The red diamond icon is not identified and is shown in brackets.
