Game Description

Each player is given the same line, performed in a situation assigned to them. The other players each guess what situation each player is performing. Gestures and body movement are not allowed: express the line using only your voice and facial expression.

The topics include single words and phrases such as "haa," "eh," "why," and "un" (yeah), as well as gestures such as "sleeping face," "turning around," and "wink," and activities such as "tongue twister" and "self-introduction." There are 30 topics in total.

Topic Cards

Each topic card shows one shared line at the top and eight situations, labelled A to H, below it. The example topic card on the sheet has the line "haa" and these situations:

  • A: "Haa" of "Why?"
  • B: "Haa" of gathering one's strength
  • C: "Haa" of being dumbfounded
  • D: "Haa" of admiration
  • E: "Haa" of anger
  • F: "Haa" of feigned ignorance
  • G: "Haa" of surprise
  • H: "Haa" of heartbreak

Translator's note: the sheet prints only this one example topic card. The other 29 topic cards are not reproduced on the sheet.

How to Play

Step 1: Choose a Topic and Assign Situations

Choose one topic card. Use the act cards (アクトカード) to assign every player a situation from that topic card. Play starts with the player who drew the "G" card.

Step 2: Perform

The performing player (shown as "●●" on the sheet) performs the situation assigned to them, without using gestures. They must express it using only their voice and facial expression ("voice and expression only"). The sheet's example shows the performer saying "Haa!!"

Step 3: Vote

Every player other than the performer guesses which situation the performer is acting out, and votes with vote chips (投票チップ) on their voting card (投票用カード).

The sheet's illustration shows each voting card with eight numbered spaces (No. 1 to No. 8), with a vote chip placed on one of them.

Translator's note: the sheet does not print how the eight numbered spaces on the voting card correspond to the situations A to H, so no correspondence is stated here.

Step 4: Reveal and Score

Once every player has repeated Steps 2 and 3, reveal the correct answers. For each player who guessed correctly, the voter and the performer both receive points (score chips, 得点チップ). The player with the most points wins.

Example Round

The sheet's example uses the "G" situation ("Haa" of surprise) from the topic card above:

  • Player ●● performs the "G" situation, saying "Haa!!" without gestures.
  • Player □□ votes for "B" (thinking: "B, maybe?").
  • Player ○○ votes for "G" (thinking: "It's G, I'd say!").
  • Player △△ votes for "G" (thinking: "G, maybe?").
  • At the reveal the answer is "G" ("It was G!"). Players ○○ and △△ guessed correctly, so each receives 1 point. Player ●● receives 2 points. Player □□ receives 0 points.

Winning the Game

The player with the most points wins.

Translator's note: the sheet does not state how many rounds make up a game, so no end condition beyond the points comparison is given.
