Can I lead a rocket, and do the others have to follow with a rocket?
The rulebook says a rocket played first establishes the suit and must be followed if possible; players repeat this across several threads.

Yes — a rocket can be led at any time, even before any rocket has been played. It sets the suit for the trick, so every other player who has a rocket must play one, and the highest rocket wins. Players with no rocket may play any card.
