How to Play
Our default maximum ingredients hand size is 6 (six). You can collect ingredient cards more than that but in the end of your turn discard ingredient cards until you reach your maximum ingredients hand size. Players taking turns clockwise. On your turn choose one from these two choices:
a. Collect Ingredients: Collect 2 Ingredient cards from the face up cards or from top card of the Ingredient deck.
OR
b. Initiate Cooking: (this choice is omitted in the very first round) If you have the required Ingredients from one of the face up recipe cards, you can declare that you initiate a cooking of that recipe. Then in turn order, each other player may challenge your cooking, IF they also have the required Ingredients of the recipe that you initiate. Each of the Cooking Challenge participants reveal their ingredients simultaneously.
The grading rule of the cooking is as follows:
a. The color/ingredients must follow recipes, the numbers are formed into tricks. b. The tricks order is listed below (highest to lowest). c. If we have the same tricks, then the winner is the one with higher number. d. If it still tied then the winner is decided from the recipe initiator clockwise.
Tricks, from highest to lowest (example for a hand size of 5):
- Straight (only for 4 and 5 ingredient recipes; must be formed by all of the recipe's ingredients), e.g. 1 2 3 4 5
- Five of a kind, e.g. 1 1 1 1 1
- Four of a kind, e.g. 2 2 2 2
- Full House, e.g. 2 2 3 3 3
- Three of a kind, e.g. 3 3 3
- Two pair, e.g. 2 2 6 6
- One pair, e.g. 5 5
- None
Cooking Challenge
- Discard all cooked ingredient cards.
- The winner claims the recipe card. They take it and gets the legendary points printed in that recipe card in the end of the game.
- All of the players who lose the cooking challenge draws new ingredient cards from the ingredient deck as many as printed on the recipe deck (recipe card).
- If using module B then every player who loses the cooking challenge also get one item card.
End Game
When a player claims 4 recipe cards, or the recipe deck is exhausted, each other player is given one more turn, then the game ends. The player with the most Legendary points wins the game. In case of a tie, the player with more recipes wins.

FAQ
- Q: What happens when someone is showing wrong ingredients when cooking, initiate or challenge?
A: First, they are given a chance to fix their cooking. If they cannot, it depends on the playgroup.
- Casual/Kind: They rollback. Simply retreat and put the ingredients back to their hand as if nothing happens.
- Competitive/mean: They discard shown ingredients without getting anything.
- Q: What is the timing to use item card "cloche"? A: In a cooking challenge, after everyone is given a chance to challenge but before the cooking is revealed.
- Q: What is the timing to use item card "condiment"? A: In a cooking challenge, after everyone is given a chance to challenge and after all of the cooking is revealed. You may add "condiment" to your cooking.
- Q: What is "condiment" used for?
A: To add value 5 or 6 to your cooking, to make it stronger/tastier. For example: you and your rival has the same hand "1 pair of 5". You can then add condiment to make "Three of a kind of 5" to outperform your opponent.
- a: Anyone may also play their condiment. The food is graded once no one wants to play anymore item cards.
- b: In case of "straight" you still need all ingredients to make straight. For example: you cannot add condiment to 1,1,2,3,4 to make 1,1,2,3,4,5 straight of 5, it will still one pair of 1. You can however add condiment to your 1,2,3,4,5 to make 1,2,3,4,5,6 straight of 6 to make the ultimate meal.
