Dials
The card shows two dial diagrams, each marked with a START position and an arrow. The batsman dial is a half-circle of coloured sectors with no numbers printed on it. The bowler dial is a half-circle numbered 1 to 8, with its knob marked at START. Each player moves a knob on their own dial.
Rules
- The BOWLER moves the RIGHT HAND knob from the starting position to "1st BALL" and then returns it to the starting position.
- The type of ball bowled is then shown.
- The batsman moves the LEFT HAND knob from the starting position to the TYPE OF BALL bowled and then returns it to the starting position.
- His score then appears—unless "CAUGHT", "BOWLED" or "L.B.W." is given.
- The bowler continues to bowl by moving the knob to "2nd" and returning it to the starting position. After bowling the 8th ball a new over is commenced.
- The batsman continues to bat until out, when the second batsman goes in. When the 10th wicket has fallen the first innings is finished.
- Players change over.
- After two innings each the match is finished.
- When a batsman plays a "NO BALL" he is entitled to any score made and cannot be dismissed by "CAUGHT", "BOWLED" or "L.B.W.".
- The BOWLER alters the score board for WICKETS fallen and the BATSMAN attends to the RUNS scored.
