Goal of the Game

Be the first team to win 3 Challenge cards.

Number of Players

The game requires an even number of players. They form teams of 2, so 2 teams if there are 4 players and 3 teams if there are 6 players.

You will find a 2 players variant at the end of the rules.

Setup

Players stand on opposite sides of the table, with each player facing their teammate.

Players on side 1 of the table must complete Challenges.

Players on side 2 of the table must guide their partners through the challenges.

Side 1 of the Table

Each player chooses a set of Animal tiles (5 Animal tiles with identical backs) and places them face up in front of them in a row, in random order.

The multicolored Leaf tile is placed within reach of all players on that side of the table.

Side 2 of the Table

The display is placed in front of the players.

The Challenge and Sound cards are placed next to it.

The rulebook shows the display being assembled from its parts in a diagram labelled "Assembly of the display".

The setup diagram labels the players as Team A (Player 1 and Player 2) on one side of the table and Team B (Player 1 and Player 2) on the other.

At the Beginning of Each Turn

  1. A Sound card is drawn.

  2. A Challenge card is drawn and placed in the display so that it is only visible to the players on the side 2 of the table.

  3. One player is responsible for announcing when the turn begins by shouting "Team Team!".

A Challenge card represents a combination of tiles that your teammate must complete: either a combination of animals, tile shapes, or colors.

When the Challenge card shows less than 5 tiles (3 or 4), these tiles must be adjacent and precisely in the order shown.

Here We Go!

The players all play simultaneously.

In each team, the player who must complete the challenge designates 2 tiles in front of them.

Their teammate cannot make any gestures to help. They can only use the sound on the Sound card drawn for the turn.

If They Say the Sound Only Once

Example: BONG!

Their teammate must designate 2 other tiles.

If They Say the Sound Twice

Example: BONG! BONG!

Their teammate must switch the position of the the 2 designated tiles.

If They Say the Sound Three Times

Example: BONG! BONG! BONG!

Their teammate has made the right combination! They must quickly place their hand on the multicolored Leaf tile before another player does so. The turn stops, and the combination that was made is checked.

If the combination is correct, the team takes the Challenge card. If not, the other team takes the card. If there are 2 other teams in the game, one team takes the card and the other picks one at random from the deck.

As soon as a team takes its third card, they win the game.

2 Players Variant

You must complete as many Challenges as possible in 2 minutes, then start again by switching the roles.
