Ariette Cuore (PR18)

Private Maid. Heart value 6, 1 VP.

During your Starting Phase You may discard one Love card from your hand. If you do, gain the appropriate bonus:

"1 Love" ⇒ +1 Serving
"2 Love" ⇒ +3 Callings
"3 Love" ⇒ +5 Love

Terms such as Starting Phase, Private Maid, Love card, Serving, Calling and Love are as defined in the base Tanto Cuore rulebook. The base rulebook calls discarding "dismissing staff" and drawing cards "calling staff"; the card's own wording is kept as printed.

Note on the bonus symbols

The card shows the three bonuses as pictures next to the "1 Love", "2 Love" and "3 Love" labels, not as words. The first picture is a serving symbol, the second is a calling symbol (the card-stack icon, which the base rulebook lists as "Callings", the number of staff the player calls), and the third is a heart, the Love symbol. The base rulebook's list of maid symbols is the source for these names. The "+3 Callings" wording is the transcriber's reading of the second picture at scan resolution, and it is the one judgment call in this file. The printed picture was not labelled in words, so it is not a verbatim word from the card.
