Owlman Body Card

OWLMAN

  • Movement (MOV): 2
  • Attack (ATT): 2 (blue die icon)
  • Cost: a Pattern of 6 Data tokens in a 3 × 2 grid. Top row: blue, yellow, green. Bottom row: green, yellow, blue.

Body ability — "When you inhabit this body":

When you inhabit this body: Place 1 Owl token on this card.

Body ability — "Combat phase":

Combat phase: Discard 1 Owl token to skip this Combat phase.

Lower panel (three rows, each with a left-hand icon):

  • Row 1: [circular-arrow icon] — 1 [burst symbol].
  • Row 2: [triangular arrow icon] — 2 [burst symbol].
  • Row 3: [triangular arrow icon] — Gain 1 Owl token.

The printed text does not say what the left-hand icons mean. The lower panel sits where the base rulebook's Body card anatomy places Combat Frames (item 3), but the card does not label these rows as Combat Frames.

Owl tokens

The printed card refers to Owl tokens in three places: "Place 1 Owl token on this card" (when you inhabit this body), "Discard 1 Owl token to skip this Combat phase" (Combat phase ability), and "Gain 1 Owl token" (Combat Frame row 3). The publisher image shows three Owl tokens with an owl design on their faces. The card does not state how many Owl tokens exist, where they are kept, how they are gained from a supply, or what else they do. The base game rules do not define Owl tokens either. Those details are left out rather than guessed.

The base game's keyword definitions for "Gain token" and "Discard token" refer to Data tokens. They are not stated to apply to Owl tokens here.

Transcription notes

  • The card prints no PRO (Programming) value. The base game rulebook lists PRO as one of the Body card statistics. Nothing is added here to fill that gap.
  • The icons on the card are not named in the printed text. The circular-arrow and triangular-arrow icons at the left of the Combat Frame rows, and the burst symbol on the right, are described by their shape. The base rulebook describes Basic and Special combat symbols in words but does not match them to these glyphs, so the Basic/Special type of each burst symbol is not stated here.
  • The cost colours are read from the card image. The grid is three columns by two rows, with all six positions filled.
