Equipment
1 Game Cabinet with timer, start-stop switch, and pop-up tray, 32 geometric forms (16 matched pairs).
Object of the Game
Pair geometric forms and place on the pop-up tray before the timer runs out. The player matching and positioning all pairs correctly in the least amount of time wins the game.
Playing the Game
- Mix and scatter geometric forms making sure matched pairs are not together.
- Move switch to STOP.
- Turn timer dial clockwise to 0 mark.
- Push down the pop-up tray.
- Move switch to START. Begin at once matching geometric forms to pairs.
- Position all pairs on the pop-up tray and stop the timer before time runs out.
Scoring
Players score by correctly pairing and positioning forms on the pop-up tray in less than 120 seconds. All seconds left count as a score. The player to complete the game in the least amount of time wins. If the timer runs out before all pairs are positioned the pop-up tray will pop the pairs up and no score is made.
Alternate Settings on Timer
Players that master the game in less than 120 seconds of playing time may find challenge in setting the timer for a lesser amount of time in which to complete game play.
For Younger Children
Begin play using only 8 of the 16 pairs of geometric forms. As skill increases additional forms may be added until all 16 are in use. REMEMBER: When using less than 16 matching pairs remove all forms not in play from the area of game play.
