Collect the maximum number of "stixx" of your own colour.
For 2 to 6 players age 7 and upwards.
- 1 board
- 42 coloured stixx (7 stixx of each colour)
- 1 grey stixx: the marker
- 6 hidden colour tokens
Preparation
Place the hidden colour tokens on the table with the colour facing down and shuffle them well. Each player picks up one token from the table without revealing its colour to his opponents. This colour will be his or her colour for this round.
Spread all the 42 stixx randomly across the game board. Try to minimise the number of stixx of the same colour touching each other. In the centre of the game board, each colour should appear at least once. The grey marker stixx is placed next to the game board.

The youngest player is the first to play.

The first player picks up any stixx – in his or his opponent's colour – from the game board and replaces it with the marker stixx. (see fig. 1, 2, 3) The next player then picks up any stixx which is touching the marker stixx and replaces it with the marker. The next player (and all the players that follow) picks one or two stixx from the board and replaces them with the marker according to the following options:
When it is his term each player can choose (from the very first turn!) from the following three moves:
A. Pick up one stixx. Pick up one stixx which is touching the marker stixx and replace it with the marker. This stixx can be of any colour; the player's own colour or another player's.
B. Revealing one's own colour. You admit what your colour is. This allows the player to pick up two stixx in one turn. You pick up one stixx that is touching the grey marker, replacing it with the marker, then you pick up a second stixx touching the marker and replacing this stixx with the marker as well. (see fig. 4)
C. Challenging another player. A player who chooses this option is allowed to guess any one opponent's colour.
Have you guessed correctly? You may take two stixx from the game board – just as in option B!
Guessed wrong? Tough luck! Your turn is over and play passes to the challenged player. (The player does not reveal his colour but simply says that the colour has not been guessed. Players must always tell the truth.)
End of the game
The game ends when one of these three things occurs:
- One of the players has collected all seven stixx of his own colour;
- The marker stixx gets isolated without other stixx touching it; (see fig. 5)
- All the stixx have been taken from the board.
The winner
The winner of the game is the player who has the most stixx of his own colour.
In the case of a tie, the winner is the player who then has the most stixx of one another colour. If there is still a tie, the winner is the player whose colour was the last to be revealed.
Tip and strategy
You can therefore win not only by collecting your own colour but also, as a "clever bluffer", by stealing the colour of others.
