Quest 1: Delay Data Guardians

PvE Quest

  • Blue Quest tokens cannot be collected.
  • Heroes may attack Blue Quest tokens as if they were an enemy. Each Blue Quest token has 2 [grey die] and 3 [red token]. The token attacks with 4 [black die] and can perform Payback Reactions. Whenever a Trooper [Trooper icon] activates, activate these tokens instead.
  • If all Blue Quest tokens are removed and the Quest has not been completed, place new Blue Quest tokens in the same locations until the Quest is completed.
  • The first player to kill 2 Data Guardians completes this Quest. Keep track of your kills with any Quest tokens.

Reward: 3 Victory tokens (printed with the Victory token icon).

Upgrade Tokens

Both tokens are Level 1 Upgrade tokens. The grey-toned and colour photographs show the same two tokens, and the printed text is identical in both.

M.E.D.A.L. (card 1101-CM)

Text: When attacking while Close to a Computer Terminal, roll +3 dice.

Icons: a pistol symbol in the top-left corner, and a +1 [red die] icon in the lower right.

Vacupack Jitters (card 2102-CM)

Text: none printed. The token has no rules text other than its icons.

Icons: +1 [black shield die] in the upper left, and +1 [green die] in the lower left.

Notes on transcription

  • Icons are shown in square brackets as they appear on the printed cards. The cards do not name the combat dice, the reward icon, or the Vacupack Jitters icons, so the bracketed names describe shape and colour only. The base Starcadia Quest rulebook defines the dice symbols and Upgrade rules; those definitions are not restated here.
  • Rewards: each Quest card prints its reward as a number beside a star-burst icon. This file renders that icon as Victory tokens, following the base rulebook's definition of Reward. The star-burst icon itself was not confirmed against a printed name on the cards.
  • Monster Setup tables: each slot shows a rank icon (single chevron, double chevron, or diamond) beside a monster picture. The icons are transcribed as printed. Their mapping to the Trooper, Officer, and Villain classes is defined by the base rulebook and is not restated here.
  • Setup diagrams: the diagrams number their tiles, as noted in each Setup section. Positions beyond those numbers were not transcribed.
  • Cover art and card backs were skipped because they contain no rules text.
