No. An attack is either obstructed or not, so the defender gets exactly one extra defense die however many obstacles lie on the line. This applies to secondary weapons too. At Range 3 a primary weapon gets both the range bonus die and the obstruction die; a secondary weapon gets only the obstruction die.
