Does R2 Astromech or Nien Nunb turn an ionized ship's forced straight 1 into a green maneuver?
A relayed manufacturer reply says yes, but other players read the ion card literally; there is no first-hand official post.

Yes, according to a reply from the manufacturer relayed on the forum: the ionized ship is still executing a maneuver, so effects that trigger off executing a maneuver apply, and the white 1 straight is treated as green (clearing stress and triggering R2-D2's shield). It does not change the white 2 straight a stressed ship flies after revealing a red maneuver. Some players read the ion card literally (the maneuver is assigned as white) and say it stays white; there is no first-hand official post, so treat this as the majority view.
