How does Blinded Pilot work, and can I skip my attack to get rid of it?

Blinded Pilot makes the pilot's next attack roll no attack dice. It still counts as an attack, so it deals no damage and counts as a miss that can trigger Gunner or Luke, and tokens can still be spent (though there is little to modify). With the original damage deck it is used up only when you actually attack, which needs a legal target, so you cannot skip an attack to shed it. Two copies flip together, and a post-combat attack can flip it early. The First Thousand Days version instead skips your next opportunity to attack and goes away even with no target, so BTL-A4's follow-up attack does not happen.
