No. A turret only lets the ship attack outside its printed arc; the printed forward arc still exists for cards that mention a firing arc. Backstabber therefore works against a Falcon when no part of the attacker's base is inside its printed forward arc, and the same reasoning was applied to the CR90's printed arcs for Outmaneuver. The FAQ, as quoted by players, backs this for Backstabber.
