Does Backstabber's extra die work against a ship with no printed firing arc, like the Rebel Transport?
Several experienced players agree; no official ruling.

No. The FAQ, as quoted in the threads, says Backstabber does not get its bonus against a ship with no printed firing arc, such as the Rebel Transport. Earlier discussion argued that a ship with no arc is always outside it, so the bonus would apply from any position; the FAQ replaced that reading.
