Can the Servant of the Emperor ambition move a patrol along a longer path to block a player?
Probably not: normal patrol pathing applies with a range of 8 spaces, so the shortest path must be taken if it can reach the player. This is a community reading, not an official ruling. Once the goal is complete the ability no longer applies.
