This game contains 63 cards.

Object

It's a battle to stay in the game! Outwit and outlast your rivals by escaping the Nooo! cards as you play from your hand and draw from the deck. Who will survive?

Setup

  1. Remove the seven red Nooo! cards and eight blue Escape! cards from the deck.
  2. Shuffle the remaining deck, then deal four cards facedown to each player. Note: You can look at your cards, but keep them secret!
  3. Without looking, deal one Escape! card to each player so that everyone now has five cards. Place any unused Escape! cards faceup in the center of play. This is the discard pile. Note: With eight players, there won't be a discard pile until someone plays a card.
  4. Place enough Nooo! cards back in the deck so there's one fewer Nooo! card than the number of people playing. (Place them evenly throughout the deck.) For example, with five players there should be only four Nooo! cards in the deck. Place any unused Nooo! cards back in the box.
  5. Shuffle the deck again, then place it facedown next to the discard pile. This is the draw pile.

How to Play

Whoever most resembles a Wookiee goes first! Play continues to the left unless a card that's played says otherwise.

On your turn

  1. Play a card from your hand (but only if you want to) by placing it faceup on the discard pile and following the instructions on the card. (See THE CARDS for more info.) Note: If you decide to play a card on your turn and it does not say "End your turn," you can play more cards—as many as you like!
  2. Take the top card from the draw pile (unless you played a card that says not to draw) and add it to your hand.
  3. That's the end of your turn.

Important: Drawing a card always ends your turn! And if you run out of cards in your hand, don't worry—you're still in the game! Simply draw a card on your next turn, and then end your turn.

How to Win

If you're the only player left in the game after everyone else has drawn and been unable to counteract a Nooo! card, you win! (But don't get cocky. You just win the game. You don't save the galaxy or anything. Now that would be impressive!)

Notes on Scope

The leaflet refers to "THE CARDS for more info", but it contains no card-effect section. The card-specific text is printed on the cards themselves and is not part of this document, so the individual card effects are not transcribed here.
