Can an interrupt be saved for later, and what if it makes the interrupted action invalid?
An interrupt resolves right when its trigger happens and cannot be saved. If it makes the interrupted action or ability invalid, that effect is simply not resolved, but any costs already paid, including the spent action, stay paid. If several interrupts hit the same action, the player activating decides the order.
