Companions are not groups and have no Deployment cards, so they cannot have attachments. A companion activates before or after the hero or group it is tied to and exhausts after activating, like heroes and groups. A companion put into play during its figure's activation enters ready and can activate after that figure, but cannot activate twice during that activation.
