If a figure is defeated during its own activation, does the activation end?
The Rules Reference says a defeated figure's activation ends, but a relayed developer reply contradicts it for wounded heroes.

Yes for ordinary figures — the Rules Reference says its activation ends immediately. For a hero who is merely wounded (first defeat) on his own activation, the guide's wording would end it too, but a reply relayed from an FFG developer says the hero continues; that relay is unverified, so follow the printed rule unless your group rules otherwise.
